Outlook: 62
Captain: Jamie Vardy

As usual when it comes to FPL, even after a shocker of a week I can’t help but get excited and dream of those mega hauls. Maguire getting his goal, Tadic going crazy and my captain scoring 5 goals.. not much to ask eh? My season is pretty much over regarding the money positions so it’s all about pride now! And saving my overall ranking to something respectable.

In goal  Sir Tom welcomes Stoke to Turf Moor. Stoke have only scored 3 goals in their last 5 so he has a good chance of a clean sheet. Burnley need to start picking up the points after only 3 points in their last 7 games, I’m backing Dyche’s men to win this game and hopefully keep a clean sheet in the process. Marcos Alonso plays City, which I’m praying is one of those completely underwhelming clashes of the big guns. I have no cover of either side up the pitch so a 0-0 would be fantastic. I can see United v Everton being another drab Old Trafford draw, hopefully a 0-0. I’ve benched Baines as I see United the bigger threat but I do have Valencia starting. He’s been a beast recently, 44 points in his last 7 games. He’s also a good shout for an assist, so hopefully he’ll bring home the bacon. Rounding off the defence, Harry Maguire comes is against Boro. Boro hate goals so he has a good chance at points here, he may even get that elusive goal he’s been threatening for weeks..

Need some points from the backline this week. The fixtures look good but midweek games tend be full of goals so you never know.. Prediction: 16

Tadic goes up against Chelsea slayers Palace, where I’m hoping the night lights inspire a goal fest rather than the drab goalless draw it promises to be. Big Sig has the least friendly fixture facing Spurs at home. Spurs look the real deal recently, so I don’t see much of a chance here. However playing against his old club could stir up a rasping performance. Sonny boy will be on the other side smashing in the points. He didn’t start last time out, which I believe bodes well for a start tomorrow night. New boy Wilfy Wilf Zaha joins GSL, as i look to get ahead of the inevitable price rise as manager draft him in for the doubles. Southampton away is a difficult fixture but the boy can play, he’s starting to develop some consistency and could be a great asset for the run in. Wrapping up the midfield is the star man, Alexis Sanchez. He disappointed last time out, however he destroyed West Ham earlier this season and I can see him back amongst it tomorrow.

I have a packed midfield this week, most with strong fixtures! What can go wrong! Prediction: 30

Upfront I was tempted to bench Lukaku, as I don’t see him picking up anything at Old Trafford but you can’t bench a 10.5m striker on the bench.. can you? I don’t have the balls for it anyway. Finally the player I’m most excited about this week, 2016’s FPL Royalty, Jamie Vardy. I’ve taken some convincing but his form and immediate fixture were just too good to turn down. 36 points in his last 4 show he’s back on the map, I can see the rest of the season being an almost party atmosphere as the good times look to be back. And who better to party with than Jamie Vardy.

I have big hopes for Vardy. He’s a strong differential and who better to crush than David Moyes’ sorry Sunderland team. Prediction: 16

Captain:

It’s between Sanchez and Vardy this week. Sanchez would be the safe choice, but wheres the fun in that. Vardy’s gonna score 8 and total an unprecedented 48 points.. just you watch! (That’s the bounding optimism kicking in again!)

Big hopes for this week (as always), 62 points predicted! Howay the Lads!!

Pray for a Party!
